TRIBUTE From its first concert ten years ago. the St. Clare Glee Club has delighted a succession of ap- preciative audiences. The high school pays tribute for the remarkable success of its Clee Club to its superior directress, Mother St. Jean-de-lilfucharistie. R.J.lVl. On its tenth anniversary. the Glee Club pays tribute also to Mr. C. Alexander Peloquin. the dis- tinguished conductor. lecturer. and composer. whose discriminating appreciation. enthusiastic support. and supremely artistic accompaniment through the years of the Clee Clulfs existence have been im- portant factors in the Clulfs achievement. Mr. Peloquin is conductor of the Boston College Clee Club. of the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul Choirs. of the Peloquin Chorale which has been heard over local and national networks. and of the Whitin Male Glee Club of Whitinville. Massachu- setts. ln addition, he is lecturer at the Gregorian School of the Diocese of Providence and at Brown University Extension Courses. Mr. Peloquin has already composed over thirty-five works which have been published by six companies and performed by some of the world,s best choruses on concert tours and on national radio network programs.
