HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT IT? One sunny day in january, I crossed the corridor next to the library. I experi- enced such a queer feeling. I can't de- scribe it. I was lonely for the four dear years spent here. I was already lonely for dear St. Clareis. Everything about it seemed so wonderful and grand. PAULINE Y. VALOIS, 49 During four years we have shared our joys and problems. Now, each of the sixty Forty-Niners will go her way, along the path of her vocation. But in years to come, we shall remember that the best part of our life Was spent as the Forty- Niners at St. Clare's. PAULINE J. LEHOUX, '49 Farewell, dear classrooms where we spent joyful hoursg farewell, relished books that have been our delightg fare- well, cherished friends who have shared our young dreams, farewell, beloved teachers who have loved and helped us. RITA M. BISSONNETTE, '49 The winter of 1948 was a White one. The trees in the convent yard were bowed down with glittering icicles. With every breeze the ice-bound branches flashed and psarkled in the sun like so many diamonds. Surely, no one can for- get the splendor and beauty of those win- ter days. M. LOUISE MONK, '49 +++++-! I'+++++++ THE LIBRARY Upon hearing those 2:30 Silver Trumpets Calling to mark the day's end, the halls resound with Three Rousing Cheers. Many of us, With a Merry Heart find ourselves Riding Highn towards the library. As we set our Best Foot Forward into the House of Hospitalityf, we embark on a Whisper Flight with Great Expecta- tions of chancing upon a book such as 'lStephie's Sweet. Oftentimes, we come across a Leader of Destiny which inspires us to search for the Keys of the Kingdom. Ambition's Contest is promoted as we travel to many Places and even To the End of the World. Our Mint 'By Night has been Winning Out through the years until it has reached the height of the Seven Storey Mountain. And Now Tomorrow we set out on Tangled Pathsi' until we meet again at the Road's End. M. FRANCOISE TAssE, '49 DENYSE Y. ST. GERMAIN, '49

. Yvonne C. Forcier.
