They do not have the experience of last year's team, but are a very promising bunch. In a couple of years we should have another championship team. Friday evening was the scene of the huge bonfire on the base-ball diamond. After the speeches and cheers, Marilyn Fitzloff and Joe Hager were named Queen and King. The snake dance was held up town. School was dismissed for the day as floats were made in the morning. After the parade at 1:00, the game was held on the new field at 2:00. A strong Minnesota Lake team won - 25-6. Team captain, Joe Hager, was injured in the second half, but he recovered and returned home the next day from the hospital. The dence was given in the gymnasium that evening. The grand march was held at 10:30. The banquet was held at 6:30. The Junior Mothers cooked while the sophomore girls served. Dancing was from 9:00 until 12:00.
