BRMIGtnG GlFFEREflT LUDRLGS TOGETHER FINLAND-- Judy Babcock spent a most, interesting part of ’ 82 in F ' ieksamaki, a city in Finland comparable to the size of Port Huron. Her adopted family was the Teitnens, Mr. and Mrs. and their two children. Tar ja, 15 (pictured above) and Ter hoi , 14. Spending a part of her time at the family ' s cottage, Judy enjoyed windsurfing, swimming, and laying out in the sun, a favorite of the Finnish people. She recognized that the biggest difference between here and in F ' ieksamaki is the cost of living. a pair of jeans would cost at least $50. Her trip was sponsored by the St. Clair Lions Club.
