“SMILES WE GAVE TO ONE ANOTHER” Saturday, October 22, 1977 was our Homecoming. For the First time in many years we had a beautiful day. This and a lot of other sheer joy and happiness will help keep strong memories in the minds of all of the people who were a part of this year’s Homecoming. The varsity football team contributed much to the ex- citing atmosphere on that Saturday. The Saints defeated the Marine City Mariners in overtime, 14-8. In the Float competition once again the Seniors took First place. Ever since the Class of ’78 came out to the High School they have held the winning ribbon. “Kick the Mari- ners Into Another World” provided the Seniors with a mere two point victory over the Juniors. 4
