The program is organized by Mr. Findley, our Co-op Coordinator. 13 Some of Our Most Important People Janice Lough, Brenda Meier, and Pam Leusby aid Miss Murray with work in the library. Our Counselors: Mrs. Chaput Mr. Vincent What would we ever do without our cooks, Mrs. Bigger, Mrs. Richter, Mrs. 14 Brenner, and Mrs. Mitchell. Pete McLeod, Mr. Bryson, and Mr. Schwartz make up the daytime custodial staff. Mrs. Schwartz and Mrs. Thomson keep our school in perfect condition. C. Solgot, R. Klaski, and B. The majorettes, a new addition to the band this year, were a colorful prelude to the band. The purpose of the Canadian Exchange Program is to promote understand- ing between Canada and the United States. In addition, tolerance for people who do things differently is taught. It is also the desire of those associated with the program that the school systems involved become acquainted and therefore learn the difficulties and problems of the other. The program started by the Rotary Clubs of London, Ontario and St. Clair, Michigan. 18 Slim and Trim A club formed for personal improvement of our young ladies. Weightlifting PHOTO NOT AVAILABLE A club which stresses strengthening and building the body. 19 Square Dancing and High Boosters The Square Dancing Club is an opportunity for students to participate in an enjoyable recreational activity. The High Boosters have helped to instill school spirit in the student body. 20 Drama- Puppetry and Forensics Drama and Puppetry provides an opportunity for students to participate in play production. Forensics Club enables a student to develop skill in the art of speaking. 21 Future Teachers and Future Nurses Future Teachers Association is for those who wish to specialize in the field of education. Future Nurses Association offers a first-hand opportunity for information about a nursing career. 22 Future Homemakers and Future Farmers The Future Homemakers of America meet to discuss one of their many projects. The Future Farmers become familiar with the importance of agricul- ture in our modern society. 23 Science-Math and Great Books The Science and Math Club enables students to further their research into the fields of mathematics and the sciences. The Great Books Club allows students to broaden their scope of literary analysis. 24 Audubon and Gymnastics The Audubon Club teaches the students to understand the interrelationships among all living things. Young Republicans and Spanish Young Republicans is a group which enables students to better understand political processes. The Spanish Club is organized to enlarge student interest in Spain and the Spanish language. 26 Audio-Visual and Photography The Audio-Visual Club has been a great help this year to both teachers and students. The Photography Club is a group famous for their photography and their Chicken Man dances. 27 The Clairvoyant work room was often the scene of seeming confusion. The advisors, Mr. Tharrett and Mr. Mallwitz, discuss plans for the layout of the yearbook with the co-editors, Patti Tual and Mary Beth Moore.
