Left- Swede” as a member of the Home- coming Court. Right- Marg on a typical school day in the U.S. a a j j Sonja Margareta Lowgren of Arvika, Sweden, was born November 11. 1946 in Srvika. Her father is a teacher and a counselor, and her mother is a homemaker. She attended a public school in Srvika for the first grade through the fourth grade. From fifth through the ninth grade she attended a grammar school in her town. The year before she left she attended the gymnasium, which is equivalent to our Junior College. She still has two more years when she goes back before she will graduate from the gymnasium. In America, her friends fondly call her Swede or Marg or Maggie. We’ll miss you next year, Margareta. Maggie on the train (the Senior trip). 6
