He was born in Ma.rque1xe, Michigan and attended Marquette High School. Mr. Paajanen graduated hom Northern Michigan College and earned his Master's degree at the University of Michigan. Mr. Paajanen taught school for 27 yeas including Charlotte and Lake Orion, Michigan and served as principal alt Ebben in the Upper Penninsula. He taught at St. Clair for 11 years teaching classes in Industrial Arts, Science, Driver Training, and Drafting. He also coached various spcrls including Golf, Baseball, and Track. Mr. Paajanen earned the respect of the studems, staff members, and the commimity not only through his excellent work as a. teacher but through his contributions in ex- erting a steadying influence on those around him.
