In order to give valuable learning experiences through school life, it's necessary for the school to call upon the assistance of those few in the community who are willing to spend their spare time and energies helping students in their extra-curricular projects. These learning experiences cannot always be provided by our teachers or in the classroom. Drawing on the knowl- edge of well-informed people of the community, as well as making field trips to nearby commercial and recrea- tional establishments, gives us the opportunity to find knowledge which we would not otherwise be able to obtain We would prefer not to cite any personal group by name for fear of omitting some worthy patron. But we would like to mention some of the ways in which the student body has been aided. First, outstanding students have received generous scholarships, and honorary awardsg second, various recreational activities have been organized for the benefit of local young people, third, individuals have given liberally of their abilities and their funds to support athletic and academic activities.
