DOLORES DRAGON CLASS MOTTO - Climb though the rocks be rugged CLASS COLORS - Crimson and White CLASS FLOWER - Red Rose CLASS ADVISORS - Miss Esther A. Botzer, Mr. David G. Evans SENIUH5 ELI-155 HISTIJHY We, the Class of 1954, began our High School career in September of 1951. In this, our Sophomore year, we had our first class meeting. Officers were elected and the class flower, colors, and motto were chosen. Our class rapidly gained recognition in scholarship, athletics, music, and various clubs. The outstanding event of our Junior year was the Prom, held on December 25, 1952. The music was provided by Horace Richards and his orchestra. The auditorium was a Winter Wonderland decorated with evergreens and gay red lights. Our Senior year marks the peak of our achievements in High School. The Senior Hop, held on Thanksgiving, with Bobby Price and his orchestra fur- nishing the music, was a most enjoyable affair. The Readers Digest and maga- zine campaigns helped to furnish the funds for graduation. As we prepare to leave the halls of S.C.H.S. we look to the future with confidence and assurance of attaining success, due to the guidance and under- standing of our faculty. As we bid farewell to our Alma Mater, we wish to extend our deepest appreciation and heartfelt thanks to those who have helped in developing our education and furthering our goals. 15 ,Qi 1 in HW ' : . gf-My fl ,wif ,if Wi if A A ,Jw My DONALD H.
