So well did he distinguish himself on the gridiron, that he was unan- imously elected captain for the year. Another sport that he excells in is swimming. Barney is a great follower of sports and his pet hobbies are hunting, fishing, and trapping. He is active in the Hi-Y and is often seen in company with fellow mem- bers roaming the hills. Besides his love of nature he is interested in chemistry and short-wave radio. He is thoughtful and studious and prefers the company of a few well chosen friends.
