However, it did not take us long to settle down to regulations une came, we were none the worse for our experience. As Freshmen we were very green, To talk was our ambitiong By being heard and never seen, We lived up to tradition. on was over and We were glad to get back to Work, now that our first 'een brushed aside. We had an athletic class and contributed our share to 111 and basketball teams. We also welcomed a few new members from e into our class. Our Sophomore year passed without many outstanding We played our part as Sophomores, Which brought us great renowng We cheered at games 'till we were hoarse They could not keep us down. ' year brought with it new worries, our Washington trip. Again, as a Vere outstanding in athletics, having no less than eight of our members e football monogram and four of them donning the basketiball letter. We ed with one of the most successful Proms,' ever held. The class was well in all of the schoolls activities. As Juniors we were very jolly, The teachers thought us, oh, so bad! We planned most every folly For 'twas better than so sad. l We were all interested in our new importance from the first day. The lass officers were chosen to lead us through this most important period: dds, Presidentg Joseph Zubritzky, Vice-Presidentg Anna Stranko, Sec- epih Dowling, Treasurer. Our class members formed the nucleus of the d basketball teams, as well as, being well represented on the Booster and affs. We produced two successful operettas and the money is to be used to expenses of our Washington trip. As Seniors now We take our place To do the best we can, If we keep faith and run the race, We'll come out spick and span. i encement will end our journey and as we retrospect, we will recall only ries and pleasant days spent in Saint Clair High. As thus we leave thee, dear St. Clair High. CHORUS: And so we say to you Alma Mater, Good-bye to all traditions dear. We sought to keep your loftiest standards Of faith and hope and honor true. No matter where we go, we'll always cherish you. Your dear old red and blue, we'll always worship too. And be prepared for better things to do. We say good-bye-Dear School, good-bye. Each head is bowed to you. Our hearts are filled with grief As we bid sad adieu. The time has come to leave. Our mem'ries linger on, though we depart.
