But there were lots of things you could have been doing besides sitting home watching T.V. A lot of kids went to Mac's for a quarter pounder, coke and fries after taking in a flick at the Arcada or Foxfield. Another popular way to spend the evening tas well as your moneyl was going over to the bowling alley to bowl a few games. After that, pizzas from Mr. Tom's were next on the agenda. Another thing to do was shopping. If you wanted a good selection of things to buy, you went overto Fox Valley in Aurora. There are a lot of things to see there, and it's much better than sitting at home. During the school year, there wasn't much spare time, but the time STC students did have was spent doing lots of exciting things. iogunr Junior life at STC Under the leadership of President Jeff Elliott, Vice-President Nan Davis, Secretary Deb Maren, and Treasurer Carol Monteleone, the Junior Class achieved the goals and hard work that was required of them this year. Although their Homecoming float didn't place, the green blob was a winner in the eyes of the Juniors and they didn't let the disappointment get them down. The officers had a rocky road to success when it came to Prom. Their main opposition was the Senior Class, but after two surveys and a cancelled contract, they finally could work together. The Gong-Talent Show was a big money raiser and along with a dance, bake sales, and selling bumper stickers, they accumulated enough money to transform the gym and put on a memorable prom.
