Saints will rock you! We Will Rock You, a popular rock song by Queen, was transformed into an even more popular cheer at STC. This was the chant that brought Saints fans back into the spirit that was lacking for a while. Although students were basically uninvolved in school activities at the beginning of the year, as the year went on, STC students began participating in school events and clubs. The first pep assembly in the new gym helped spirits rise, and then the feeling of togetherness started growing. With cries of, We're number one! Saints fans tried to raise the roof off the gym during pep assemblies. Clubs worked on events to make St. Charles a more spirited school, and the bleachers were finally filled at the games. Pep Club decorated the commons and halls with orange and black streamers and posters, and soon the pride that was missing began to develop into the pride and spirit that STC is known for. oudog LU 0 3.1 Rings - our memories Whether it's aquamarine or blue spinel, white gold, yellow, or sterling, with the crest or without, cut or smooth, class rings are one of the highlights of the sophomore year. With the excitement of ordering the rings in December, the sophomores run around looking at the upperclassmen's rings trying to decide which one is right for them. And when the rings finally arrive in the spring, the excitement is obvious in the sophomores as they examine each other's rings. The tradition of boyfriend and girlfriend exchanging rings leaves the girl wrapping colorful and fuzzy angora around the much-too-large boys ring to fit on her finger. Class rings are a part of growing up, and a big part of high school. They hold many memories you can keep for the rest of your life.
