Friday nights and movies, of course! One of the favorite pastimes of the STC freshmen was to buy a box full of popcorn and hit the late show after a rockin' Roundabout. Say the name Darth Vader and R-2 D-2, and the frosh think of the highly acclaimed Star Wars with its spectacular special effects that kept most people laughing. Some of the other favorites were Smokey and the Bandit, Oh, God, and The Deep fThe guys loved Jacqueline Bisset in her wet T-shirt, and the girls drooled over Nick Nolte's deep tan and nice musclesll If you were sly and could sneak in, or if you just looked like you were seventeen, the favorite R-rated movie was Saturday Night Fever, with John fBarbarinoJ Travolta which started a disco fever of its own in St. Charles. The completion of the new Foxfield Theaters on Dunham Road was another beginning for us, and it entertained all with the latest and greatest movies of the year.
