Freshmen, can't stop dancing' at the Roundabout For one week previous and one week after, Roundabout dances were looked forward to and talked about by the freshmen. With the exception of the special dances, Christmas formal, and Farmer's Dance, Roundabout held one dance a month from 7:30 to 10 p.m. Most guys and girls came to the dances to listen to the bands like the favorite Mountain Ash, play pool and foosball, sit in the T.V. room or near the Coke machine talking to friends, and possibly even to dance. Most guys and girls didn't take dates to the dances and only a small amount of people were in couples. Most people just went as friends, or just to see other people. Roundabout also held special events such as the hayride in the fall, and trips to the roller rink and to Funway. if fa! eo
