Congress helps out as students adjust Student Congress, led by Speaker Judy Donnelly, had a rough time helping students adjust to their new surroundings. A student advisory committee, consisting of the class officers and the officers of Student Congress, was formed to talk to administrators so that some of the student problems could be solved. A Candy Cane and Valentines Secret Admirers' Day were special events sponsored by Student Congress, along with a Computer Dance, the All-Star Student-Faculty Basketball Game and the selling of STC jackets. STC clubs take root in new surroundings There was a lot of spirit and pep to be distributed this year at the high school, and the Pep club played an important part in spreading it around. The girls' sold key chains and had numerous bake sales. With the money they earned, they bought orange 8t black sweaters. This year's pep assemblies that were sponsored by the Pep Club and the cheerleaders, were attended by all and lots of fun.
