Congress helps out as students adjust Student Congress, led by Speaker Judy Donnelly, had a rough time helping students adjust to their new surroundings. A student advisory committee, consisting of the class officers and the officers of Student Congress, was formed to talk to administrators so that some of the student problems could be solved. A Candy Cane and Valentines Secret Admirers' Day were special events sponsored by Student Congress, along with a Computer Dance, the All-Star Student-Faculty Basketball Game and the selling of STC jackets.
