National Honor Society is still going strong NHS tNational Honor Societyl had activities helping the administration and citizens of St. Charles. The main event was giving tours of the new school when an open house was held for the public. NHS also provided help for the Back to School Night. A special committee was organized consisting of teachers, advisors, and a few NHS members to revise the standards for membership induction into NHS. NHS enjoyed two field trips to Chicago, which included two plays i'Pippin and Godspell. The viewing of the Art Institute and the Chicago Board of Trade were of much interest. In the spring, a bake sale was held to raise money for the end of the year picnic. Qrightj, Senior Karen Sheppard and friends walk quickly down the cold streets of Chicago to a nearby restaurant.
