Track Team strides tc success The unfinished track still didn't stop the team from making the 1978 season one of the best. Finishing 2nd in the Kane county Championships and being undefeated in dual conference was just part of the Saints successful season. They also were 2nd in indoor season, 2nd in NIU indoors, and won the Fox Valley relays. The following nine qualified for State, Jeff Wheaton, Tony Grossklag, Randy Wright, Tom Clarke, Mike Petersen, Grant Harshbargar, Mike Stahulek, Bill Arloff, and Mike Sparacino. Saints ended placing ninth in state.
