A winning but rainy Homecoming St. Charles defeated Upstate Eight Conference foe East Aurora 16-O Homecoming night October 7 in a steady rain at Reid Field. Running back Todd Willing topped all runners with 98 yards on 23 carries to lead St. Charles' ground attack of 270 yards. Willing scored the first touchdown on a one-yard plunge that was followed by quarterback Randy Wright's four-yard touchdown run. Kicker Mark Grossklag made a 22-yard field goal to account for the Saints' final three points. Clockwise from right: Ray Foster, 1615, tires to help out as three Saints tackle an East Aurora runner.
