BBQQLAMAILQN WHEREAS, the future of the City of Anaheim, and of Orange County, as well as the future of our entire nation, must depend on the highest educational standards for our youth today, and WHEREAS, the ST. CATHERINE'S MILITARY SCHOOL of Anaheim was founded 75 years ago, in the same year the County of Orange was founded, and WHEREAS, this educational institution, through the devotion, skill and guidance of its faculty, has earned a wide reputation for its high academics, military training, and religious appreciation, and WHEREAS, the school has been a strong contributing factor to the successful growth and progress of Anaheim, and has added strength, culture and dignity to the development of the entire Orange County Community. NOW, THEREFORE, I, Rector L. Coons, Mayor of the City of Anaheim, do hereby proclaim SATURDAY, MAY 2, l964, as HST. Yes, it will always be our school. Many of us were but small infants when we were entrusted to your care. You accepted us as your own.
