MODERN LANGUAGES France beckons, Spain calls, and Academy students prepare for a hoped- for visit to these lands. The culture and customs of these countries are studied with the formal matter of the language, to provide a well-rounded course in modern lan- guages. Commercial students find their two years a valuable asset in the business world. Freshman mathemati- cians investigate the mysteries of the unknown quantity. An integrated course covering the foundations of geometry is employed by our sopho- mores. Progressing on the third year continues in algebraic study. A broad field of mathematical thought and method is introduced to the senior class. Indeed the graduates of this curriculum acquire such skills as are adaptable to all future needs.
