:W-h, i 7h M b fh 49-95.th : i rp-n Ti VR;Vi;-m.f ' ' ?:r-r: 3:56;; $91;- EPQWOI'J The quest for PEACE continues with renewed determination. During the years, which have elapsed since the Second World War, much time and labor was and is being spent in deliberation and effort to establish permanent PEACE. In spite of all the plans, today the grim international struggle goes on and becomes more and more ominous, mainly, because in the Council Chamber where conferences are held by the worldis statesmen the Divine Light is not sought. Yet the world has only to turn to Our Lady, for to Her Christ has entrusted this PEACE. In recent years, Mary has manifested her protective interest in mankind by her intervention. At Fatima she has called on us to return through Her to Christ, the Prince of PEACE. We are grateful that during the four years at Saint Casimir High School, our teachers have impressed upon us Mary's role and the importance of religion in our personal, cultural, social, and political endeavors. The recent pastoral of our Bishops has strengthened us in this conviction which has been inculcated by our teachers: it is religious education alone which develops in us those spiritual qualities essential to individual happiness and good citizenship,name1y, the sense of God, the sense of spiritual direction, the sense of individual responsibility, and the sense of mission in this life. ' Hence as you page through this yearbook, we trust thatyou will review with us the ways and means by which our Alma Mater has truly made us God-centered, has brought us to see His commandments as guideposts giving uner'ring direction to our steps, and finally, has made us mindful of the supernatural value of our actions and deeply aware of our mission. With the rosary in our hand and with the prayer on our lips To the Prince of PEACE through the Queen of PEACE we step into the world to work and to live for lasting PEACE. f mdaAu-s....e.i,m --....,Dmn-.a:.7 . ..
