1:7.hlr' SENIORS PRESENT watt 077,, On February 15th and 16th the graduating class of 1947, in collaboration with the Choral Club and the orchestra presented the Operetta HATS OFF. The story concerns itself with the Father of the American Navy, John Paul Jones tF. Kocz'embw and the adven- tures of his crew of the Ranger While it was docked at port near Dame Blyis tA. Letzczewicm hospitable Mermaid Inn during the stirring days of 1777. The ships crew is ever vigilant for plots against their hero-commander and soon discover that Captain Landais tR. Swinkokaii, a renegade ship Captain, and his accomplice Boodle U. Him are plotting to secure the Ranger for themselves. Lt. Richard Dale tE. Gapw, his fiancee Marion tL. Zapimkh, William Couttleigh tA. Kobierzyn- 5km, his sister Anne U. Du BorgeD and Red Jetty tB. Roximkii add historical color, while the crew, joined by the chorus of singers and dancers, blend beautifully in effecting the hectic days of the Revolu- tionary War. The story ends with Landais discredited, John Paul Jones receiving letters and tokens of appreciation from 2111 over the world, and the assurance that the United States Navy will achieve greater and greater triumph with the spirit of John Paul Jones ever watch- ful over its gallant men.
