Q vb S N lx ' , 4 fr f I I v 1 I 4?- 1 W, 1, J fl 'N f Af tl H' 1 1 X I N X SENIOR CLASS PROPHECY It is a quiet evening at the home of Jim Peerman. Jim, his wife Cboris R1 sb I and their two children are watching their television set. There is going 155E31b speclal program on this evening, at least sp0c1a1 to them because there is going to be a review of the Class of 1953 of St. Bernice High School. Jim nd Doris are unable to attend because little Nicky is sick. By the way, he was named after Jim's old coach back at St. Bernice High. As the program comes on the air, they see Bob Roskovensk , who is the guest announcer for this evening. He also has a telev s on program of his own. Fbr the first few minutes Bob is seen walking swiftly from place to place with some papers in his hand, trying to get the program organized and quiet the members of the class who could be there. The first person who appears on the prozram is Miss Carol Seebren, who was Formerly the Commercial teacher at St. Hernice High, but recently went out West because she heard there were more men there. Bob greets Carol and says, 'Now, Carol, here come some of our old classmates, Mrs. Sam Jackson and Mrs. Andy Jackson, who now reside in Hillsdale. They are the former Betty Jones and Treva Howe.' Since they had so much practice rolling money for t e class, they have been rolling pennies For the last lO years to save for a trip. And even the commercial is interesting to the Pearman family because it is brought to them by the bradley Hybrid Seed Corn Co., with Bill doing his own commercials. Well, look who's coming in now! Ir it isn't Ronald uavis, who is now the mayor of the big city of St. Bernice, Indiana. Ronnie flew low in his new Super Sonic Sixteen Cylinder Car to get here in time. FLASH I!! The program is now interrupted for a bulletin. Don Maloney of the Chicago Cubs has just hit a home run in the ninth inning that has won the World Series for them. Don oouldn't attend the program because of the big oall game. Some of their other classmates are unable to attend. The first one, Jennie White, is in Europe because her husband, Scotty Bob, Qbob Scottj is a general in the Irmy there. Besides taking care of their children, Jennie gives dancing and singing lessons. She'd also been seen on the French stage. Norma Bother is now a minister's wife. They leave tomorrow for Africa. Everyone is wondering how she will like it away from home, since she didn't like to travel when she was a senior. Bob tells Carol that he read in the paper the other day that Carolvn Webster has just been offered 32,000 for her hair by a wie manuPacturing cEmpEEyT ---- Carolyn's hair is a very beautiful auburn, and the president fJames Kylej of the company said that the shade is very hard to find now. She is undecided whether to take the offer or not. And the last two members of the class are Janice Jones and Mary Jane O'drisnt They have just finished a motion picture in Hollywood entitled, funions and J Gar1ic'. It was impossible for Janice and Mary Jane to appear on the program because of the 008011008 odor of onions and garlic th8t still linrers with them. As the time comes for the program to end. Bob Roskovensky closes by playing K X ,h the St. Bernice Loyalty Song on his accordain. . X , 'E-as ' 1 .. gwwi u i s. by ': 0 7 . V ' .N 1 ' i..,.fs.saff- ' ' 11
