i Qualifying for the District Meet, held on Saturday, May 19 were: Almetha Ford and Brenda Whitney, discus throwing; Michele Carbone and Laura Kent, javelin hurling; Kathy McNabb, running the mile and Debbie Coggshall, the 2-mile race; Joan Nowlin and Michele Carbone, the low hurdles; Moira Keating, the high jumping and 440-yard dash. Coach: Jim Burns ae ‘ 5, Sse In the freshman-sophomore meet at Crocker Field, St. Bernard’s girls set a new record in the 440. Participating were Leslie Rollo, MaryBeth Martin, Moira Keating, and Shelly Tossi. Other girls on the Track team were: Juniors—Robin Arceci, Lisa Berube, Lorie Lynch, Maureen Martin, Eliza McFadden, Maryanne’ Reynolds, Paula Richard. Sophomores: Celeste Caron, Lori Dandini, Kathleen Reynolds, Colleen Shannon, Susan Smith.
