1979 TRACK Robert Merrow David Farnsworth On the 1979 Track team, Tom Farineau and Mike Manago led in the shotput; Paul Legere and Bill Bourque in the discus hurl. The javelin throwers included Bill Donahue, Pat Donnelly, and Bruce Carbone. On the pole vault were Jim Barassi, Alan Fontaine and John McBrine; in the high jump—Jim Bilotta, Paul Boudreau, and Rick Leger; in the long jump and triple jump events—John Farnsworth closely tailed by Bob Lomme and Tom Marcoulier; the quarter mile relay—Paul David, Tom Chaisson, Art Steffenberg, Jim Barassi; Half-miler, Francis Burns; Leader in the low hurdlers, Paul David.
