Before the show, the seniors were feted with a roast-beef dinner. t 8:00 o’clock, the entertainment began with the singing of YOU’RE SAILING AWAY, SET AN OPEN COURSE FOR YOUR DESTINY. . . ” Other songs were THANK YOU FOR BEING A FRIEND, IT’S OVER, DAYBREAK, and WHEN YOU WISH UPON A STAR, and TRY TO REMEMBER.

CAROUSEL, the musical of ’78, had for its setting a small town on the Maine coast in the year 1873. Deborah Thibert ayed the part of JULIE Jordan and Nancy Simpson that of CARRIE PIPPERIDGE. Martin Connors was the PRINCIPAI d Peter Lanza, the STARKEEPER. Susan Gaudet and Richard Leger were townspeople. Rosemary Mazzaferro and Caroline 8 peo} ‘omey were dancers. Joan Bedard and Edward Palumbo were on the production staff.

One section of the Junior-Senior Reception performance that was most touching in its appeal was the tribute paid to the emory of our beloved Father Downer. Special thanks was extended to pianists, Diane Duval, Katie Mohrmann, and Karen Angelini. Guitarist, David Mayer, and ‘tummer, Dean Smith, also did an excellent job. $ , 7 +! +,
