How united we Juniors were As together we worked as one Each one doing his job well Whether on stage or on floor! The hall took on a gala look With its statues and fountains And the high flowered archway Through which seniors entered. Junior boys and girls served Each senior seated at table A dinner truly fit for a king From beginning-to-end courses. The joy of hearing laughter Resound throughout the hall As Seniors clapped, enjoying Our songs, skits, and dances. But there were tears there, too, As seniors thought of their JSR Now a thing of the vanished past And stored in the halls of memory.

JUNIORS FETE SENIORS Over the operetta of April 12 and 13, And Juniors were now free to rehearse For their biggest class event so far— The night of all nights—the great JSR. Then after weeks of many frustrations And rehearsals that seemed so terrible How good it was to have a ray of hope And see a fine show slowly taking form.
