The cornerstone of our high school was laid in 1926. At that time we had one main building of thirteen rooms with auditorium and gym. When it was converted into a central high school, eight portables were built accommodating 350 pupils. In 1965, the new addition was completed and ready for occupancy. In addition to the thirteen new classrooms, there were also the labs--biology, chemistry, general science, language, and home economics. A chapel and cafeteria were included in the addition.
