“Fashion Land,” a one-act play was presented in the school auditori- um on Sunday afternoon, May 20, 1961. The action took place in the dormitory of a girls’ college where Joan (Berna- dette Dion) is trying for a dress de- signing scholarship to cover the tui- tion of her senior year. She is in a di- lemma when her fairy godmother (Sally Thomson) takes her on a tour through Fashion Land where she meets many models, such as these sophs: Jeanne Amadio, Barbara Barth, Elaine Bouvier, Betty Jean Buja, Linda Buja, Mary Callahan, Pamela Capone, Claire Chabot, Helen Charette, An- drea Charron, Mary Courtemanche.
