MARY' JANE MCKEARIN Give lhu thoughts no tongue. We can hardly call Jane bashful, but she dislikes greatly to spcak before an audience. Unfailing good humor and generosity are two qualities for which she is noted. Her marks show that her studies come in for a good share of her time. ln the fall. Jane plans to enter a training school for nurses and we know that her patients will never lack proper care. EILEEN MARX' MORAN Gentle to others. to herself severe. Eileen is an ambitious member of the commercial course who aspires to be a helpful worker in the busi- ness world. She does not give herself the credit she deserves but her friends do not forget to do this for her. The 8:13 bell has often been a solemn warning to Eileen for with Marie, her friend, she has frequent- ly been seen hastening to class to avoid the dreaded evil of session for tardiness. Best wishes, Eileen. for a bright future. FRANCES MARY MORIARTH' Gentle of speech: benehcent of mind. Fran is a gentle. studious girl who seldom fails to have her lessons well prepared. She enjoys all out- door sports and spends every summer at her camp in Lakewood. For the past four years she has added much to the high school orchestra by her ability in playing the 'cello. We hope that with her departure from St. Bernard's she will not neglect her loved instrument. and that in the distant future she will still make melody with her 'cello. May success be yours. Fran. DOROTHEA MARGUERITE MULCAHY A light heart Iiues long. For four years Dorie's vivacious spirit has graced the corridors and classrooms of our school. Besides keeping up her good work in the College course, she has been able to do splendidly in the annual School Plays. Cheer Leading, also, is in her line: and as stu- dent nurse at the Burbank, we know she will keep the patients in a happy frame of mind,

Kitty is a pal in the fullest sense of the word. None will forget the enchantment of her smile and her charming sociability, Did you meet Dolores? Then you met Kathleen, too, for they are inseparable. Don't change, Kathleen, nor forget the pleasant times we have had here at St. Bernard's so that in the future years they will form a host of happy memories of high school days. MARGAIQET LOUISE lVlURPHY A lady is serene. Margaret is one of our classmates from golden West Fitchburg. She is a member of the Commercial Class and her quiet ways and diligent work have made her popular with both the students and the teachers of the school. We predict that Margaret will excel in her secretarial labors within the walls of a large business firm where she will go with the best wishes of all her classmates, SIMON JOHN NALMANTY The only way to have a friend is to be one. Simon, or A'Cal', as he is known to his friends, comes from the Water Street section. He is a fine friend and a good companion as Ed, Joe, and Howie will testify. You can generally find Cal and his companions somewhere around St. Bernard's and from their hearty laughs we know that happiness abounds. Simon did splendid work on the football squad, and we trust the future will bring him much success. EUPHEMIA TERESA NElTPiERCUT Hence loathed melancholy. There is nothing more charming than Famie's smile. She is one of our gloom chasers and she fulfills her mission to perfection. Everybody remembers her work in the operetta given during our sophomore year and we will not easily forget her as an entertainer at our Junior-Senior Reception. We all know that Famie will be a huge success in the business world and a credit to St. Bernard's High School. f--f-1,-vffvv tR.F'iJfF'iF? -iwvj-fzffrg t f 'VEJIQ--'F ' 'if-ietfvfstifa-wwfS-farafvtvz-refX f 41--wT'f'VT 'Qtw 1 t .f......., My -JVM. .,. . .. . . -z i ' +, 'i' .il intl H 1 A 5-V L.: 35 if 'lf rin 'T' 51 1 ,- ,PA ,fi pl-1 I J.. iii ,.1.
