FRANCES ESTIIIER l.YNCH Mt1sic. when soft voices die Vihrates in the memory, Who could help liking Frances? She is unquestion- ably one of the best-liked girls in the class. Although her high marks indicate that she has pursued her studies seriously, we have yet to see Frances when she was not smiling and full of fun, Her lane piano playing has been a great asset toward the success of our orchestra. lirances plans to continue her studies next year and we all extend to her our heartfelt wishes for a suc- cessful career, PHILIP BERNARD LYNCH lf lhere is u virtue in the world at which we should always aim. it is cheerfulnessf' ln our future life we will always look back upon our high school days and most of us will remember the many good times we have enjoyed with Rip, He carries with him a glowing assurance of mirth and is always beaming with some form of fun. When he settles down his gift of intelligence comes to the sur' face and we see in him a student of no mean ability. He has played on the basketball squad for four years, and what a man! DORIS MAUDE MAY S1iIkened, chaste and hushed. Doris has been with us since the Sophomore year. and by her serious outward behavior she gives the impression of a rather retiring student, but her friends. on the contrary, all unite in saying that she is an astounding example of a modern girl who has not lost the art of blushing, May success be your goal and smiles your milestone, Doris, as you pursue your business career. LILLIAN TERESA MAY As merry as the day is long. Did you ever see Lillian when she wasn't either laughing or passing a cheery Word on to some one? As a result of her sunny disposition, Lillian has just hosts of friends. The distance to St. Bernard's High didn't prevent her from persevering for four long years and we trust that her efforts will be amply re- warded in the future. f

MARY' JANE MCKEARIN Give lhu thoughts no tongue. We can hardly call Jane bashful, but she dislikes greatly to spcak before an audience. Unfailing good humor and generosity are two qualities for which she is noted. Her marks show that her studies come in for a good share of her time. ln the fall. Jane plans to enter a training school for nurses and we know that her patients will never lack proper care. EILEEN MARX' MORAN Gentle to others. to herself severe. Eileen is an ambitious member of the commercial course who aspires to be a helpful worker in the busi- ness world. She does not give herself the credit she deserves but her friends do not forget to do this for her. The 8:13 bell has often been a solemn warning to Eileen for with Marie, her friend, she has frequent- ly been seen hastening to class to avoid the dreaded evil of session for tardiness. Best wishes, Eileen. for a bright future. FRANCES MARY MORIARTH' Gentle of speech: benehcent of mind. Fran is a gentle. studious girl who seldom fails to have her lessons well prepared. She enjoys all out- door sports and spends every summer at her camp in Lakewood. For the past four years she has added much to the high school orchestra by her ability in playing the 'cello. We hope that with her departure from St. Bernard's she will not neglect her loved instrument. and that in the distant future she will still make melody with her 'cello. May success be yours. Fran. DOROTHEA MARGUERITE MULCAHY A light heart Iiues long. For four years Dorie's vivacious spirit has graced the corridors and classrooms of our school. Besides keeping up her good work in the College course, she has been able to do splendidly in the annual School Plays. Cheer Leading, also, is in her line: and as stu- dent nurse at the Burbank, we know she will keep the patients in a happy frame of mind,
