Although her high marks indicate that she has pursued her studies seriously, we have yet to see Frances when she was not smiling and full of fun, Her lane piano playing has been a great asset toward the success of our orchestra. lirances plans to continue her studies next year and we all extend to her our heartfelt wishes for a suc- cessful career, PHILIP BERNARD LYNCH lf lhere is u virtue in the world at which we should always aim. it is cheerfulnessf' ln our future life we will always look back upon our high school days and most of us will remember the many good times we have enjoyed with Rip, He carries with him a glowing assurance of mirth and is always beaming with some form of fun. When he settles down his gift of intelligence comes to the sur' face and we see in him a student of no mean ability. He has played on the basketball squad for four years, and what a man! Doris has been with us since the Sophomore year. and by her serious outward behavior she gives the impression of a rather retiring student, but her friends. on the contrary, all unite in saying that she is an astounding example of a modern girl who has not lost the art of blushing, May success be your goal and smiles your milestone, Doris, as you pursue your business career. LILLIAN TERESA MAY As merry as the day is long. Did you ever see Lillian when she wasn't either laughing or passing a cheery Word on to some one? As a result of her sunny disposition, Lillian has just hosts of friends. The distance to St. Bernard's High didn't prevent her from persevering for four long years and we trust that her efforts will be amply re- warded in the future. f

FLORA MARY IQECUYER From the crown of her head to the sole of her foot, she is all mirth. What a terror. You often hear that remark passed about Flora. Although she is one of the tiniest members of the class, she makes up for it by the merriment she always creates wherever she goes. Flora's ability as a bookkeeper is the envy of many of her fellow students. She has not yet decided what her future work will be, but we know that she will be just as cheerful and happy in the future as she was back in her high school days. PHILIP BERTRAND l.'ECUYFR What a world of merriment his melody foretellsf' Phil seems to be without a worry, or a care. be- cause very seldom does he appear without a laugh or at least a smile lighting up his countenance. His sense of humor is, indeed. very keen and very laudable since it does not interfere with his studies. His long list of friends indicates his line qualities and we all trust that the list will increase as the years advance. MARY JOSEPHINE IQESPERANCE It is a friendly heart that has plenty of friends. Mary is another member of the commercial course who really enjoys life even when it comes to tapping the keys of a typewriter. She is one of our best artists. Simply hand her a paper and pencil, tell her your idea, and Mary will sketch it for you. When it comes to fun she is always Willing to do her share to make the others happy. We don't know how the gym would exist if Mary wasn't there. She can certainly make those baskets count, Best wishes. Mary, for future success from the Class of '33, ANNETTE MARGUERITE LORTIE My fairest child, I have no song to give you. Annette has been with us for three years and from the moment of her arrival has been a friend to every- body. She and Famie are always together. Annette is a member of the sixth hour History Class where she has endeavored to make a creditable record by her correct, complete, and concise answers. Such applica- tion to duty cannot but win in the battle for success.
