l- EOPOLD ARTHUR BLAIS fl noble heart, like the sun, shotueth its greatest countenance in its lowest estate. Paully from the beginning of our high school course has ever been a true and loyal member of the Class of '33. Operating on a seven-day-week basis he spreads good cheer wherever he goes. He is, moreover, a great sport and extremely popular among the students, both boys and girls. He has figured in almost all the school activities distinguishing himself particularly in the Athletic and Debating Club. Best of luck. Paully. LAURA CECILP Bono She is gentle of nature. l,aura is another student who came to out school the Sophomore year. She is usually so quiet that you are hardly aware of her presence in the classroom, but we know that when she is with her companions out- side of school she can be as jolly as the IQSI of us. Her most intimate chum is Blanche Cauvin and together they have enjoyed to the utmost the delights of high school without sacrificing the careful preparation of lessons. May you continue the good work in your future life. l.aura. IVIARGARFT RITIX BURKE An ounce of wit is worth cz pound of sorrowf Peg is another cheerful spirit when things seem dull. She always wears a smile and is ready with a cheerful word. This disposition will surely be appre- ciated when Peg is busy typing or taking shorthand notes in a busy ofhce. May your ever-jovial attitude continue. Margaret, in the coming years, EDNA PRISCILLA CARDINAL Her hair was not more sunny than her heart. A pleasant smile and gentle voice are what we truly admire in Edna. Although she has only been with us from her Junior year her cheerfulness made a lasting impression. She has followed the commercial course and hopes soon to be tapping on a typewriter for some large business firm where we trust she will be happy. i w 1 4

Her scholastic attainments plus her splendid workin caring for an attractive victim of the Mumps in the school play of '32 won for her much praise. Her genial manner is enhanced by a scarlet blush which is very becom- ing. Good luck to our Class Secretary, is the wish of all. I W fTTT?R

lVlARY AGNES CARTER Of manners gentle, of affections mild. Here is Mary, one of ourclassmates from Leominster who has persevered in coming every day, rain or shine. She has been a member of the commercial course since her entrance to St. Bernard's in her Sophomore year. Of a rather demure and quiet disposition she has won a great many friends among us, and we are sure that her pleasant smile will help her to attain a happy and successful future. CLARANCE JOSEPH CHRISTIAN The true work of art is but a shadow of the divine perfection. If by some unfortunate stroke of bad luck, Clarance cannot achieve the position in life he desires, he has in his makeup many remarkable endowments of which he can make use. He is an excellent artist, attracted to all forms of science, and manual labor, and is eager to give everything he has toward the accomplishment of some task no matter how difiicult it may be. It is his readi- ness to cooperate and his eagerness to help that have won for him praise and popularity. THOMAS BERNARD CON ROY 'LII is of little traits that the greatest human character is composed. To see is to believe. That is the way one has to arrive at a definite opinion about Tom. In the classroom he is always quiet and somber, never disturbing any- one, but outside of school he is a different lad entirely. We find him a friendly, likeable chap with plenty of wit and a personality that beams on all like the morning sunshine. Much credit is due to Tom for his work in connection with our Class Book, and most heartily we extend to him our farewell wishes. EDGAR ARTHUR CROTFAU The dearest friend, the kindest man. To observe Edgar while he is busy studying during the hours of school one would think that he really en- joyed it more than anything else in the world but in outside activities he is as full of fun and mischief as any other modern youth. He takes much pleasure in accomplishing things and what is more he even endeav- ors to do things right and well. We find this illustrated in a hobby of his, namely, that of playing the violin. We hope Edgar will reach as high as his ambition will take him because he is backed by the many wishes of the entire Senior Class. ..,g ,1 it 1 4 1 l Y l 1 'f WYV 7' ff' l7 l7' 'IJ 'JTlJl i 'X.l1.
