Q aving been a long tradition at SBHS, our short flags still possess flair and excitement. dfldlh he Varsity Club originated 30 years ago in two seperate parts: the Key Club for the girls, and the Letterman Club was for the boys. The members of these clubs held high ranks of authority, but their most 'specific and most important job was thatof giving citations. The members were to patrol the halls and give out citations to anyone not acting proper- ly. Not acting properly would include chewing gum , not being courteous, and even talking in the hallways!! The Key club was to patrol the girls' hallway and the Letterman patroled the boys hallway. Once the school became unified the Key club and the Letterman club merged to become the Varsity Club. The duties, today are sightly different but the basic jbb of the Varsity club is to maintain order and control!
