Wekaww af '72 Viking Day is the day when eighth grade students get a taste of what St. Bernard's is all about first hand. The eighth graders attend a day of school without their parents and participate in various classes where they actively join in with the lesson plan. This year the day ended with a spirit - filled assembly where various group awards were handed out, a slide show was shown and the-class of '92 was introduced to the Alma Mater. ACTIVITIES 49

This year Open House was a tremendous success. Open house is the night when eighth grade students visit St. Bernard's and attend sessions with their parents to learn more about our school, the students and the faculty. Students and parents are able to get a taste of various academic departments by visiting each one. The eighth graders were also able to sign up for clubs and organizations for the following year.
