l i AUUICOAGULANT PNOSPKAIE ll l lm DEXTEUSE SOLUTIGI, USP St. Bernard High School, along with a little charity and love a its heart, transformed its gym into a center for the donation f blood. Throughout the day of January 12th, each student nd member of the faculty saved four lives by giving a pint of lood. A few requirements, however, had to be met before a erson was allowed to give blood. First, the person must have desire to give their blood, and second, the person must be 17 ears of age or over and must weigh, at least, 110 pounds. The lood drive was run by trained nurses, who took your blood nd afterward made sure that you had a drink and rest before ou returned to class. The act of giving blood is actually the ct of giving the gift of life and SBHS faculty and students ave definitely proven that fact. W'-M40 F ' 1. Fha Daetwz Once again St. Bernard students displayed their talent in the production of Neil Simon's comedy, The Good Doctor . The play was like a book of short stories put together in one volume. The play ran for the weekend of November 22. It was the first time St. Bernard had a play in the new Fine Arts building. The cast and crew work- ed long and hard for weeks, and it was evident in the performances that were given. V? t 3 3 S . 3 46 ACTIVITIES WllumQm...,,,N i .llk we f9 Q 1. This year Open House was a tremendous success. Open house is the night when eighth grade students visit St. Bernard's and attend sessions with their parents to learn more about our school, the students and the faculty. Students and parents are able to get a taste of various academic departments by visiting each one. The eighth graders were also able to sign up for clubs and organizations for the following year. The hard work by Ms. Sher- wood and students truly paid off. L49 - Q ? i ?,eii W 4' -6' 0m Dame 1416 Open is 1. Fr. Kidney welcomes the perspec- tive Vikings. 2.
