Homecoming was an extraordinary hit this school year. The theme was t'Club Tropicana, and the excitement was shown through the class hall decorations, and the dress-up days for spirit points. SBHS became as tropical as possible for that week. Although our football game against Bishop Montgomery was not victorious, the night of the Homecoming Game was exciting because of the two new traditions started: the float attrac- tions were reduced to two instead of four Cone for underclassmen and one for the upperclassmenl and the crowning of a king for the first time in SBHS history to celebrate our 30th Year Anniver- sary. The first king at SBHS was King Royce Clayton. And, of course, a king needs a queen, which was Queen Paula Gilmer. We congratulate both of them and all the others who helped make Homecoming '87 a wonderful turn-out. Sw, 'U' A Es? 6. 'w 'Egg fi Y 32B HOMECOMING ' f
