Zfhfozeldetwozdaf This year has been a wonderful one for me. The friends I've made, and all the exciting times and memories I've shared with my friends and the yearbook staff are everlasting. I'll never forget SBHS because it is and probably will continue to be my second home. Thank you Ms. Beattie for everything. You've given me the chance to use my hidden talents that were just burning to come out of me. You have also been a dear friend. P11 never forget all the wonderfull times that you and I and the entire staff shared together. It has made my last year a more hectic and yet the most productive year for me, mentally, socially, and spiritually. Working with you has been the greatest! I love ya! Thank you also, Ken. You helped me when I was frustrated and couldn't seem to get anything done because I had so much to do. Don't take the arguments too personally. Thank you so much for everything. Probably the most understanding and helpful person this year to the yearbook staff is Mr. Steve Eddy, who was always there when we thought it was it. Thank you so much. Mom and Dad, thank you so much for supporting me through all those loonngg nights when the work load seemed to never stop. I love you very dearly! And, of course, my dear friends, Jeannie Zamora, Gidget Haro, Jennifer Barrientos, Carolyn and Carla and you too, Lisa Furby. We all have shared sooo much together that I could go on for days. Please remember that I love you all very dearly and don't any of you lose touch after GRADUATION'88! Fr. Kidney, Faculty, and Staff, thank you for your support throughout my four years. My life will never be the same again after leaving SBHS. Good luck clo '88!! Ida Garakani Chief Editor As I think back on this year I remember all the great times I have had with my friends here at SBHS. This being my last year here I am afraid to leave my friends and the securi- ty here at SBHS. When this year first started I had my doubts about the yearbook, but now that it's all over they are all gone. I think this yearbook is one of the best books ever. I would first like to thank my mom who helped me out with the yearbook so much. Thanks mom for helping me out with the proofs, when I had to be at school late at night and when you brought me things I needed at school. Thank you. I love you. f Next, I would like to thank my dad who put up with me and my mom when we had to work on the yearbook or I had to be at school on Sunday nights. One person who probably got angry or disagreed more with me than my parents is our fearless moderator, Ms. Beattie. When we first started out in yearbook I had my doubts about Ms. Beattie, but now I have been proven wrong. Thank you Ms. Beattie for being a great friend and the best moderator ever. Thank you. I will never forget you. One of the best partners I could have had is Ida Garakani. I would like to tell you Ida that it's been such a pleasure work- ing with you on the yearbook. If we dicln't do it together we probably couldn't get through the yearbook. We've been to hell and back and now were done! Thank God! It's been fun, but I don't know if I could do it again. Thanks, and keep in touch. I can't forget our representative, Mr. Steve Eddy, who helped me out so much. Thank you for being so understanding. And also Fr. Kidney, and the Faculty and my teachers who were so understanding. Thank you Now that the year is over I may never see any of my friends again. L.M.,P.F.,T.G.,A.P.,G.B.,K.E.,U.H.B.S.,D.P., and all the other people at the tree. Keep in touch. Thank you everyone and especially clo '88. I HOPE YOU ENJOY THE YEARBOOK!! fwfr 8 Ida Garakani - The editor's job is to oversee everything that happens with the yearbook. including content, managing the budget, and working closely with the co-editor, each section editor and the advisor. The editor also helps to boost the enthusiasm of the staff members because planning and meeting deadlines can get very stressful for the whole staff. The editor also tries to suggest to the staff new and creative ideas to incorporate l n the yearbook. Liza Bray The Senior editor has a very difficultjob: to produce the senior section, and like this year, to do it alone. The editor organizes the divi- sion page, senior portraits, senior quotes, bernies, and the senior direc- ltory. It is a lot of hard work but also a great learning experience. l section. Lisa Felder and Ugema Hosea - The club editors are responsible for keep- ing a current insight of the clubs at SBHS and their activities, They keep an up-to-date list of members and what each club has done throughout the year and to present that in their Nicola Caldwell W The person in charge of index has a more important job than the name may suggest. This editor must make sure that all students and faculty are equally represented in the yearbook and list the page numbers on which they appear as accurate- ly as possible. He!She must also pxesent the listing in an interesting and eye-catching manner. WI1 Nam Woo - The position of yearbook hoto editor is an important one liecause the editor is responsible for all the photos that will be used in the pro- duction of the yearbook. The photo editor is also responsible for assigning and completing photo requests. This person must aso maintain organiza- tion of the photo files. This year's photo editor was also in charge of the academics section. The academic editor also makes sure that all those terrible classes that you've taken are acknowledged in this section Tracy Goode and Janice Barnes - The job of yearbook business editors is extremely important. They are in charge of all financial matters in- cluding yearbook sales, adver- tisements, and the yearbook staff purchases. lt is clearly evident that without the business editors the produc- tion ofa earbook would be ex- tremely difficult, -ne' ll Ui 1 ' la fs . l it a F' K i x X .
