The advisor has to be extremely dedicated to the yearbook and the staff. This job demands lots of patience, firmness, and profes- sionalism - a very challenging job, indeed. Julianne Masted and Kendall Ken Mickelsen - The co-editor is t- aid the editor and staff in all aspects o the yearbook. The co-editors job wil vary from year to year. He helps trail the staff along with the editor and ad visor and also taught the staf members how to work the computer The co-editor is there to share thi challenge and the difficulties with thi editor, and work together to make thi yearbook special. Lamar A Sports are an in- tegral part of student life here at SBHS and it's the job of yearbook sports editors to make sure all athletic activities are covered extensively. They must not only give equal atten- tion to all sports but they must also keep lists of team members and scores. Most im- portantly, the sports editors must make their section as ac- tion packed and exciting as the actual games. Stephanie Stronks - The faculty here at SBHS is rated among the stars and the facul- ty editor must be able to create a section in which each staff member will shine. It is impor- tant that this editor be able to capture those special moments shared between faculty and students. Finally this editor must devise creative ways, like the Faculty Bernies in which our faculty members will be best remembered, 264 Im Linda Mondragon - The job of the art editor is also very demanding even for a talented person like this year's art editor. This person not only helps out the photographer by filling up pic- ture space, but also accents all the pages that contain artwork. This job requires a great amount of talent, discipline, and the ability to work well with other staff members. Paula Gilmer and Pam Roper - The job of the activities editors requires to be on top of things and the ac- tivities going on in school with the students andfor the faculty. Therefore the job demands organiza- tion, being alert to what's going on at school, and the ability to work well with others. Shireen Crutchfield and Camille Presley - One of the most tedious jobs of the yearbook is working on the underclassman section. Making sure that every underclassman is pic- tured is only the begin- ning for the editors of this section. They, also have to design the layouts for the three classes and match names with the correct pictures. The job re- quires organization, patience, and creativity.

fwfr 8 Ida Garakani - The editor's job is to oversee everything that happens with the yearbook. including content, managing the budget, and working closely with the co-editor, each section editor and the advisor. The editor also helps to boost the enthusiasm of the staff members because planning and meeting deadlines can get very stressful for the whole staff. The editor also tries to suggest to the staff new and creative ideas to incorporate l n the yearbook. Liza Bray The Senior editor has a very difficultjob: to produce the senior section, and like this year, to do it alone. The editor organizes the divi- sion page, senior portraits, senior quotes, bernies, and the senior direc- ltory. It is a lot of hard work but also a great learning experience. l section. Lisa Felder and Ugema Hosea - The club editors are responsible for keep- ing a current insight of the clubs at SBHS and their activities, They keep an up-to-date list of members and what each club has done throughout the year and to present that in their Nicola Caldwell W The person in charge of index has a more important job than the name may suggest. This editor must make sure that all students and faculty are equally represented in the yearbook and list the page numbers on which they appear as accurate- ly as possible. He!She must also pxesent the listing in an interesting and eye-catching manner. WI1 Nam Woo - The position of yearbook hoto editor is an important one liecause the editor is responsible for all the photos that will be used in the pro- duction of the yearbook. The photo editor is also responsible for assigning and completing photo requests. This person must aso maintain organiza- tion of the photo files. This year's photo editor was also in charge of the academics section. The academic editor also makes sure that all those terrible classes that you've taken are acknowledged in this section Tracy Goode and Janice Barnes - The job of yearbook business editors is extremely important. They are in charge of all financial matters in- cluding yearbook sales, adver- tisements, and the yearbook staff purchases. lt is clearly evident that without the business editors the produc- tion ofa earbook would be ex- tremely difficult, -ne' ll Ui 1 ' la fs . l it a F' K i x X .
