Art Club Members Utilize Techniques for Various Effects Under the guidance of Sister Suzanne Marie Roy, students demonstrated their creative expression in Art Club. Members utilized paint, pencil and chalk to achieve effects in their Work. Their decorative displays enlivened the cafeteria bulletin boards during the year. Donna Yates perfects an ancient skill, arranging a Chinese handball. Susan Zipp prepares cutout display figures for a decorative display. Mary Ellen Filburn covers up a slip-up as she trims the im- perfection. Margaret O'Regan makes use of scissors to produce her creative artwork. 77

Library Hosts Nutmeg 020 With the help of the Library Club, Sr. Irene Kennett purchased many new books this year. Funds were raised through bake sales and the book fair. These books aid students and teachers. In the spring the Library Club hosted the Nutmeg 020 Regional Meeting. Deborah DeGange files the Sign Magazine on the periodical shelf. Vice-president P. Present Students Prepare Careers as Future Teachers Preparation for careers in education Could be found amid activities of the Future Teachers' Club. After selling scented candles to raise money for their various projects, moderator Sr. Sarah and members experimented with techniques for successfully instructing future pupils.
