Math Introduces Film Slides Each student offered her own creativity in solving difficult Mathematical problems this year. Helping her develop this ability, the Mathematics department provided courses in Algebra, Geometry, Senior Math and for more advanced pupils, Consumer Math. Film slides were initiated to establish better com- prehension along with the use of overhead projectors to illustrate the complicated conceptions involved in Math. Intense thought and will power stimulate the probing mind of Nancy Stuart. Uncertainty is aroused as Ann Cavasin ponders over a calculation. P. Faria queries the validity of an axiom as K. Hanrahan ponders. Donna Shaughnessy and Eileen McCarthy concentrate with powers born from necessity in comprehending mathematical properties.
