Rules of Conduct: For the maintenance of good order, without which no good effects are attainable, reasonably strict regulations are necessary, which, however, are insisted upon more by moral persuasion than by severe measures. No student who has his education at heart will find great difficulty in observing the following: lSt. Bernard catalogue, 19051 Every student 'shall promptly and silently respond to the call, performing the duty which the signal demands. Silence must be observed at all times and in every department of the house Neatness and cleanliness are indispensable requirements, therefore, students must keep themselves as well as their belongings in proper order.
