Mrs. Myrtle Box Mrs. Box has been with us behind the Snack Bar dating back to Shamrock days. She is always courteous and tries to be helpful regardless of how exasperating the student's demands. Mrs. Box has always shown more than a passing interest in the students. Many returning alumni make the Grotto shop their first stop in order to see and chat with Mrs. Box. r When this year's class began as freshmen, Bob Eramian also began his teaching career at SBC, so that he is, in a sense graduating with us. Bob was an asset to the college and one that the students felt a definite need for. We wish Bob the greatest amount of luck and wish to extend to he and his wife Nancy our appreciation for their efforts in behalf of St. Bernard Students. ws. -fr-ss H31 We : ff 1-gr? i tfgizyitffffl . f'Tf1'v7'.,,. . , fs .' ,f Milt.. , J ,t fi!! iii? Joseph carries a responsibility that sometimes goes unnoticed by those around him. The infirmary is a facet of the college which no one thinks about . . . until they need it. Br. Joseph makes a nightly trip to the infirmary in case things are needed after Nurse's hours. Also, it falls on Br. Joe to take care of the older, incapacitated monks, a service which he performs with the utmost dedication. , Mr. Bob Eramian Martin Fisher Martin Fisher is no longer with St. Bernard, but without his continued efforts, the publication of this '72 Bernardian would have been made much more difficult. We wish to extend our heartfelt thanks for his understanding and interest in the book, even after his departure from St. Bernard. We wish him all the best in the future. g I3

This gear the editors and staff oi' the BERNARDIAN have felt the need for a change in policg concerning the dedication of the gearbook. We feel that, in dedicating the book to one person there is a tendencg for this tribute to become a political tool. Therefore. the 1972 BERNARDIAN is dedicated to the following GROUP of people whom we feel deserving of special recognition. Graf Hart has been actively interested in St. Bernard College dating back to the institution's iunior college days. More than any one man, he has sold St. Bernard to Cullman and the surrounding counties as attested to by the day-student enrollment. His contributions to the St. Bernard athletic program have played a lion's share in its success. Mr. Hart typifies the St. Bernard philosophy of personalized education as well as any man on the campus. His door is always open to provide aid and attention to the students of St. Bernard. 11291 vga Mr. Graf Hart W sq 1 ui Dr. Javier Camps is an instructor at St. Bernard. But more than merely an instructor, Dr. Camps is respected as a friend and confidant by the students position not as iust a iob, but has always taken en Leyes degree from Universidad de la Habana in 1955 and his M.S. from Kansas State Teacher's College in 1967.
