NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY PLEDGE I pledge myself to uphold at all time the high purpose of the National Honor Society to which Ihave been elected. Iam proud to be a member of the St. Benedict Chapter. I will endeavor to be true to the high principles for which it stands. I will be loyal at all times to my school. Iwill be faithful to my Church and devote to it my service and my leadership insofar as my state of life permits. I will strive to maintain and encourage high standards of scholarship character, leadership, and service. Iwill endeavor at all time to conduct myself in such a way that my life will reflect the principles which Ilearned in St. Benedict's. As my school willalways maintain a motherly interest in me I, in turn, promise to be a faithful and dutiful sonfdaughter. I shall respect the insignia of the National Honor Society with pride and with humility knowing that only so long as I am a credit to my family, my school, and my Church, will I be permitted to retain and wear the national emblem. Therefore, in accepting this membership, I accept not only the honors but also the obligations and responsibilities that it implies. It shall be my earnest endeavor, therefore, always to be a credit to St. Benedict Central High School.

ULASS PLAY This year's class play was organized under the direction of Sister Rita Marie, who spent many a difficult hour not only in the actual direction but in the choosing of the cast. Those who were not actually in the cast proved to be good sports and due to their hard work and cooperation helped to make the play and ad PI'Ogl'3.l'1'1 3 success. Practice Scene from Guess Again. AD PROGRAM Hard work and effort was shown by the students taking part in the Ad Program. This is an event that occurs yearly before every class play and the students anticipate this event with great pleasure.
