A tremendous success was accorded this year's annual senior dramatic presentation, Little Women, which was presented November l6 at St. Mary's Auditorium. The play was based on Louisa May Alcott's famous novel of the same name. The cast of versatile actresses changed quickly from rollicking humor to serious drama. The story revolved around lite in a family with tour Hlittle women, their adventures, their fun, and their hard times. ready to go out The act within Act Dolores U16Ck1 Margaret H1rsch Barbara Z alas Letitia Chimenti Mr Adol hLutzJr - P as 'tAunt March as 'Sally Muftattu as Hannah as Aunt Carroll Director lilUVIitH Amy does it again! Chairs, tables, pictures, and knick-knacks were routed from attics to make the scene most realistic. The skiltul makeup crew used their paints and fingers effectively to add years to some members of the cast. The entire production was under the talented direction ot Mr. Adolph Lutz and Sister Mary Grace. Back stage crew pause to pose. Primping between acts. ltllltll PllEflllllllH The lunior Dramatic Club, since first originating four years ago under the supervision of Mr. Adolph Lutz, has proved to be a star in the crown of dramatic achievement at S.B.A. and we are certain will show itself worthy of the newly acquired honor as permanent member of the National Thespian Society. The talented dramatists have put forth their best efforts in popular standards, spine-chilling mysteries and rollicking comedies, but the most revered of all these productions was presented this year on Palm Sunday, to an audience whose silent and awed attention was most expressive of their approval. Finale . The stillness of the dimly-lit auditorium is broken by the soft voices of the choral group as the curtain slowly recedes and a part of the Greatest Story Ever Told , the Crucifixion and Resurrection of Christ, unfolds. Supporters and background for the pantomine is the verse choir which tells of the events in the Passion of Christ. Singing, choral reading, angels narrating lend variety to the program and as the last scene slowly fades away the choral group crescendos in the Alleluia or Praise Be to the Lord.
