Monsignor Peter Skrincosky Superintendent of Schools Monsignor Peter Skrincosky, B.A., MA., S.E.O.D., Superintendent of Schools, graduated St. Basil's Preparatory School in 1940. He undertook his freshman year at St. Charles College, Catonsville, Maryland, after which he continued his study of philosophy at St. Basil's College receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1944. He attended the Catholic University of America and then was ordained on june 2, 1947. His first assignment was as instructor of Latin and Religion at St. Basil's prep. He simultaneously held the office of Prefect for eight years. He attended Fordham University which awarded him a Masters Degree in psychology in February, 1953. He was then appointed Rector of St. Basil's College and St. Basil's Preparatory School. ln October 1959, Bishop Ambrose Senyshyn, OSBM, sent Father to Rome for advanced studies at the Pontifical Oriental Institute, Gregorian University where he received a Doctorate in Oriental Ecclesiastical Sciences in june 1963. ln September 1963, Bishop Schmondiuk appointed him Rector of St. Basil's College Seminary, a position he still holds as well as teaching courses in psychology and theology. ln 1968 Pope Paul VI elevated Father Skrincosky to the rank of Papal Chaplain with the title of Very Reverend Monsignor. -vt. Rev. Peter Fedorchuck Financial Administrator Reverend Peter Fedorchuck, B.S., MS., graduated from St. Basil's Col- lege and studied theology at the Catholic University of America. Father did graduate work in mathematics at Fordham University and received his Master of Science degree in 1951. Father also studied advanced mathematics at Adelphi College on a National Science Foundation Fellowship. For the past thirteen years Father has been administrator of a parish in Fresh Meadows, Long Island. After having taught mathe- matics and physics at the Prep for twenty-five years, he was promoted this year to the position of Business Manager. Rev. loseph Fedorek Spiritual Director Reverend loseph I. Fedorek, B.A., Extraordinary Confessor, was born in Bayonne, New Iersey. He graduated from St. Basil's Prep in 1945 and from St. Basil's College in 1949. He studied theology and attended the graduate school of Sociology at Catholic University of America and was ordained in 1953. His parish assignments were Rector of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Philadelphia and Pastor of St. Michael's Parish in Shenandoah, Pennsylvania-the oldest Ukrain- ian Catholic Church in North and South America. At present he is Pastor of St. Vladimir's Parish in Elizabeth, New jersey. He was recently elected by his clerical peers to the Board of Directors of St. Basil's Prep and College. Presently, his other offices are Board member of the Priest's Retirement and Insurance Fund, Board member of Ascension Manor in Philadelphia, Commissioner on drug abuse for the City of Elizabeth, New jersey and Spiritual Director for the Knights of Columbus Roselle Park Council.
