CLASS ' PROPHECY a Doctor of General Surgery were seated 1n my off1ce As my secretary Vera Dotson and I who now am we began to talk of our school days at St Bartholomew Hlgh It was approx1mately twelve years smce our hlgh school graduatton As my vacat1on was long overdue I declded to v1s1t my dear old Alma Mater The followmg mormng found me boardmg a plane for Llttle Rock Hardly had the plane taken off when a fam1I1ar vo1ce exclatmed Hello Vaughn and to my surprlse there was Glor1a Jacoway now a profess1onal model on her way to Hollywood to s1gn a contract for a mov1e She was surprlsed to learn thatl was pres1dent of the Staff at our hosp1tal After an enjoyable LOHVCTSHIIOH we parted for I had to change planes Smce lt would be e1ght hours before Icould secure another plane Ideclded to see the c1ty 1n the meant1me Whtle tourmg through the streets I dec1ded to buy myself a portable radlo for relaxat1on As I entered the door of Smlth s Radlo Center a medlum heavy look1ng fellow came to the desk and asked May I help you? From one look at h1s face I knew It was Wallace We talked for a wh1le then he offered to show me around the c1ty From Wallace I learned thtt Genora was res1d1ng 'V 9 here too and that she was an elementary school teacher at St Francls A short r1de IH h1s new Cad1llac brought us young lady s1tt1ng at the desk From one gl1mpse I knew It could be none other than Genora Wade She took us through an lmmaculately clean school m whlch seven hundred and f1fty puplls were taught Although I hated to leave Genora my t1me was l1m1ted stnce Wallace sa1d I must see the Parker Aud1tor1um owned by Ioseph Parker As we took seats ln the large audltorlum we were astonlshed to f1nd James Allen the Star of the show Slflglflg hls h1t song Skate s Tough wh1ch 1S the Number 1 tune throughout the natlon After the show we found Joseph and James together ln the dresslng room I learned from James that Julla Hampton a model was 1n France modelllng for Stanley Nathanlel After a pleasant conversatfon we left James and Joseph and headed for the alrport At the a1rport I met a short attractwe young lady who was very pol1te I was elated to dlscover that I was talklng to Patr1c1a Gu1den She told me that she was a Cosmetologlst and that her frlend Barbara Evans was lresldent of the Nat1onal Cosmetology Assoclatlon Wlth great prlde Patrlcla told me that she was on her way to a conventlon ln San Franclsco As 1tWaS now tlme for my plane I bade my frlends farewell X and hoped that we would meet agam After an hour of pleasant r1d1ng the Stewardess of the plane mformed us that we were approachmg L1tt1e Rock As I left the plane I saw a young lady who seemed to be fam1l1ar and to my dellght thxs was Florence Smlth now on her way to New Jersey to asslst 1n performmg an operat1on I learned from her that Velma Jordan and her slster Queen Esther were head nurses at St Bernard and that Brenda Walker was an X Ray Technlclan X' 'Z li e S fn X' ' x 4 .
